SUPER
WIDE DYNAMIC MODE This Camera uses Double Exposure technology to give a long exposure of
up to 1/120 second for dark image areas and a short exposure of up to 1/120 000
second for bright image areas, hence the dark and bright areas in the image will
both have correct exposure and contrast. The two images are then merged using
Super 20 MIPS DSP technology with Dual 16 M RAM to create a more natural image
as is seen by the human eye. The overall static
range of exposure can be controlled by an Auto Iris Lens to further expand the
static range by another 20 000 times.
With an exposure
range of ~ 1 600 000 this camera is capable of capturing images illuminated by
daylight ~ 1 200 000 lux to moonlight ~ 0.015 lux. Ordinary CCD cameras
have a ~ 3:1 dynamic range which is much lower than the 1000:1 range of human
eyes. In Super Wide Dynamic Mode this
Camera has a range of ~ 275 + :1 considerably better than comparable cameras on
the market.

SUPER
SMEAR REJECTION MODE Using Digital Smear cancellation technology, this camera has a ~ 150 +
dB smear rejection ratio, this is ~ 30 to 55 dB or ~ 50 to 200 times
better than ordinary cameras that have a ~ 95 to 110 dB rejection ratio.
With a shutter speed as high as 1/120 000 second
there will be no smear. This is considerably better than ordinary cameras that
start to smear and bloom from 1/2 000 second and become virtually useless from
1/3 000 to 1/100 000 second. Many users will find that this Super Smear
Rejection function is even more useful than the Super Wide Dynamic Range.
